Dahab is one of the oldest and most attractive beaches in South Sinai, Dahab, Which means "Gold" in Arabic was named after its golden beaches, lying on the east coast of Sinai on the Gulf of Aqaba, Located half way between Sharm El Sheikh and in the south and Nuweiba in the North.

Dahab's atmosphere cant be compared to Sharm, Sharm is typical built-up holidays events, While Dahab is smaller and still attracts a more "alternative" and younger crowd.
Dahab consists of two bays, El Qura Bay & Ghazala Bay, in the latter one the Bedouin village El Assalah is located, Within the years the area has developed into a tourist center with camps, hotels and bazaars, The newly constructed beach promenade is the core f Dahab's Activities, where globetrotters from all over the world meet in a lively atmosphere.

Due to the strong wind, Dahab is an excellent place for water sports and perfect location for windsurfing, Dahab is famous for its deceptive deep dive sites, The reef in Dahab Bay are found between Laguna Village and Novotel Hotel, At Assalah several good sites past the Lighthouse can be found, But the main diving attractions are 7-8 km up the coast where you can find the "Eil garden", Canyon, and the Blue Hole.
